Amalgamated Security Services Limited Regional Recognition Awards for Law Enforcement 2017

In recognizing outstanding Police Officers in ACCP’s Member Forces/Services/Departments, Amalgamated Security Services Limited (ASSL) in conjunction with the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police (ACCP) has initiated the ASSL/ACCP Regional Recognition Awards Programme. This awards programme recognizes a total of nine outstanding Police Officers from member countries of the ACCP, with one winner per each of the three categories. The categories are as follows: Top Caribbean Community Policing Officer | Top Caribbean Crime Fighter | Top Caribbean Career Move

In 2017 the third annual Amalgamated Security Services Regional Recognition Award Programme for Public Law Enforcement ceremony was held in the lovely country of Aruba. The ceremony took place during the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police’s (ACCP) Annual General Meeting & Conference at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino, from the 01st May to the 04th May 2017. 2017 Winners are as follows:

Top Caribbean Crime Fighter:

  1. Superintendent Mc Donald Jacob – Trinidad & Tobago Police Service
  2. Superintendent Mitchell Ceasar – Guyana Police Force
  3. Corporal Alvin Prospere – Royal St. Lucia Police Force

Top Caribbean Community Policing Officer:

  1. Constable Jonathan Kern – Royal Cayman Islands Police Service
  2. Assistant Superintendent Oswain Subero – Trinidad and Tobago Police Service
  3. Deputy Inspector Henry Kia – Korps Politie Suriname

Top Caribbean Career Move:

  1. Superintendant Ronald Phillip – Royal St. Lucia Police Force
  2. Assistant Commissioner Atlee Rodney – Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda
  3. Inspector Clint Arthur – Trinidad and Tobago Police Service

Amalgamated Security Services invited all nine awardees to an all expenses paid trip to Aruba where they received their trophies publicly in front of the attending police commissioners, local law enforcement officials and other invited guests. The three first place winners additionally were awarded a cash prize of US$5,000.00 by Amalgamated Security Services. At the ceremony, Amalgamated Security Services received raved reviews and positive feedback from the winners, runner ups, the ACCP organising committee as well as the Commissioners of Police from the various ACCP.
